Julia graduated from the London College of Fashion in 2008, with first class honours specialising in accessories design. Her degree work was awarded the prize for excellence from the Worshipful Company of Curriers. Julia recently won the Deutsche Bank business award for fashion design and it is her ambition to help shift the fashion and design industry towards a more environmental, ethical and sustainable future.

In addition to currently setting up her own fashion label, Julia is also studying for a Masters of Arts postgraduate degree in Fashion and the Environment, at the London College of Fashion.
